Good Fixed Wing Starter, Electric or Nitro?
Hello all. I have zero experience in Airplanes and have interest in exploring this part of the hobby. Looking for any recommendations for a decent fixed wing plane without breaking the bank but allowing me to fly with relative ease. Also would I be better off with electric? Thanks.

Id say electric. what do you have now charger?.. electric is easier to tune than nitro to me. id say a trainer of some sort.many sims games out there to get the basics.

Yes, electric plane is easier, clean, lower maintenance and powerful by today standard. If you already have charger you can start with budget under $150 for a decent rc controller and plane kit with electronics depending on what kind of fixed wing you interested to fly; there's 3d profile, park flier, aerobatics, jet, scale civilian, warbirds, wings and winged FPV. Get a simulator like PHOENIX R/C or REAL FLIGHT 8 (RF8). If you wanted something slow and fly backyard i'd recommend a 3D profile plane, they are fun for both indoors and outdoors.
Here's some video how i enjoy slow 3d flying both indoor and outdoor.

If you're budget in a pinch you can also make your own plane and download plans from this website: https://www.parkjets.com/free-plans
I made one and flew in this video:

Typically recommend by most as one of the better starter planes:

if you've never flown before I would suggest a simulator first. https://www.horizonhobby.com/product...oller--rfl1100
it's harder to fly than it looks. this will save you money in the long run from not crashing.
