I've got a Udi022 Tylosaurus, can anyone tell me what the black box that holds the prop shaft by the motor? I'm not sure if it's normal for the rod to move around like it's not centered or wobble. But the boat runs fine. Can't upload pics or the link to a short reel since I'm brand new, let me know if you want a DM for it.

I think he's referring to this guy here. They call it the spindle tube holder. It locates the front of the prop shaft. I don't know what rod he's talking about, though. The only rod I see is the steering rod.

He explains stuff like my wife does. Sometimes I can even figure out what she's talking about. It sounds like the prop shaft is wobbling around where it goes into the housing.(stuffing box) At least that's what I get. As Dennis Miller used to say, "of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong".
