Did my my maIden voyage today on my thrift store find . Was originally gas . I put in an electric motor from an airplane and a 80 amp esc . Boat has plenty ofpower but keeps shutting down on the water . After a short rest off it goes . Sounds like a esc overheat but the motor and esc are only slightly warm so dont think thats it . Any suggestions ?

how many c is the battery if the load is too much for it the voltage will drop and esc will shut down. also is cut off adjustable on esc? Good luck!
