I know right! Without having the motor in hand I made the mount a little long. I was thinking of trying the 40mm YR fans but the dual 30mm's did such a good job with my Castle 2200kV I decided to use them again.

I should be ok with 2 fans though. For now I'm not gearing it too crazy; 45/17 (3.91 diff ratio) for now and I have a 19t on the way.

Do you have the HD center diff?

No.

I just put a 4.0 center diff in last week and put 30k weight. Before I bought it I searched around and several people said Losi fixed the weak plastic on the 3.0 and 4.0 diff housings so I didn't bother with the HD. I was also looking at the Fioroni aluminum housing but I didn't find anyone running it on a 8ight-T so I just went with the stock.

I'll see how the stock 4.0 housing holds up.
