RX 482 Telemetry
 

Just upgraded to the RX 482 from the RX 462. When I was using the 462 there was a lead to connect to the positive battery lead to read voltage from my M12S. Now with the 482 there is a slot for battery with a signal, positive, and negative pin. Which pin do I connect to the battery to read voltage? There is no info out there that explains how to this with out using their esc.

With the 482 to read accurate motor battery voltage, you need a sanwa ssl esc. Otherwise it will show receiver voltage. The 472 and 482 are internal telemetry without external sensors or soldered leads. In order to get full telemetry you have to pair the 47/82 with sanwa esc. This is common for any system that supports full telemetry. I can tell you that the sanwa telemetry system is the tits. You can get massive discounts buying from asia, but no support stateside. Thanks SMcD, I guess I will go without the Telemetry for now as I just upgraded to the Orion HMX on all my cars. The 462 was a great receiver but is too cramped in my xrays.

SMcD where is a good online place to buy the sanwa stuff you mentioned?

There are "make offer" Asian sellers on ebay that you can get great deals and service from.

The manuals can be hard to read unless you know Japanese, tho...

To get motor battery voltage without a Sanwa ESC with the 482, hold the down arrow button and the BEC voltage will change to motor battery voltage. (EDIT: No wait, I'm wrong. That's low battery alarm)

So there is no way to get battery voltage if the ESC is not Sanwa?

Only with an RX462 it would seem.
