For 2wd the Savox 1258 works well.

Are there any jx servos that will last longer than a week.
JX servos are legit! - Electric Motors, ESCs, batteries, etc. @ URC Forums You can probably cut some corners and go with a coreless, but if it doesn't say coreless or brushless on the side of the metal case, then I would stay away from the $13 servos. |
I've been using a Savox 1267SG and like it, although it's probably a bit overkill for 2wd

I have yet to find a better price/specs servo then this one. Its the same company that makes the trackstar ones. 60$ gets you some amazing specs. Like .07sec/60deg and 344OZ of torque. Also waterproof. Been working flawlessly in my ERevo for several months. Might be a bit overkill for your application, but can always use it in a bigger/4wd rig if you get one.

+1 on Xpert. Run a Xpert 4431 in my TD DESC410 and it is speedy AF and strong. 19.5kg, 0.08sec @ 6.0v. I don't even need a bec.

I need a servo that will last a really long time it needs to be strong have metal gears and relatively quick. Anyone have any recommendations. I don't really want one of those cheap off brand ones because they dont last long.

I've had good luck with Power Hd BLS-1108 in 2 2wd sc trucks without any problems. Sometimes you can find them at wiseguyshobbies on ebay for less than $40. Brushless with titanium gears & .08 with 152oz at 6v. They take a futaba 25t horn. Not waterproof though.

D Per my recommendation from post #17 above, that servo remains my personal favorite within that price range, updated link here: https://www.amazon.com/BLS-HV7032MG-.../dp/B0836H3HB2 replacement gears here where JX is the OEM for EcoBoost servos: https://www.amainhobbies.com/ecopowe...p-3099/p755536 |

Good question. I run 2wd mod. 10.5t team ae 6.4
I was using a Amazon metal red box ebay special 20kg. Got a protek100ss out of the used box at the shop. Currently using that. Need more better or one I won't break. in 6 yrs the same rec. I'll look into that. Ty d |
So prefer you want a low profile servo. The Savox 1251 is a wel used servo. Most Sanwa users like to run a Sanwa servo due the SSR speed, so if you are running a Sanwa then an SSR compatible servo is a better choice..

I run futaba

I run Sanwa PGS-LH II in nearly all my 1/10 including one TLR 22SCT 5.0 (Vision Racing Carbon Fiber Chassis Conversion). The other TLR 22SCT 5.0 has the ProPerformance XTS600-HT. I had switched out a full size Sanwa PGS-XB II for the XTS600-HT. Didn’t need the torque on paper and preferred quicker servo for turf/carpet. The PGS-XB II is being saved for a future 1/8 eBuggy

I've grown to demand solid aluminum case servos as a basic requirement and have been burned too many times with plastic tabs failing on me, nothing worse than having intermittent steering issues only to discover a failed tab after a wreck :(
If I were to buy a low profile servo for myself today I would go with SRT, they offer a 1 year warranty too! https://dialedhobbies.com/srt-ch7012...l-servo-detail |
