And of course you gotta monitor the voltage of LiPo packs. For that I just use a LiPo alarm plugged into the balance lead.

With a 20 amp discharge provided by bulbs (10), it doesn't take long for voltage to drop. Had to have something to warn me. I got them from: X2 RC Lipo Battery Low Voltage Alarm 1S-8S Buzzer Indicator Checker Tester LED | eBay
