Hi all,
Was wondering if y'all could post what packs you are running and what you think of them. In particular I'd like to hear from truggy runners.
Are you running 4S or 5S?
What capacity?
What C rating?
What brand?
How are they holding up?
How are your run times?
Are you racing, bashing or both?
Thank you,
j

Turnigy 4s 20c‑30c 5a 5000mah 14.8v Hardcase Lipo. Good cheap hard case. Im running a Kyosho Inferno 2.0 buggy and the runtime is around 15 min bashing. I have run it several times and so far so good.
Runtime is very subjective. It will depend on the vehicle, tires, terrain, gearing, driver behavior....

This is the pack I'm currently running in my RC8T3e:
True Spec Premium 14.8V 5200mAh 112Amps/90C
Very pleased with it, SMC is one of my favorite brands, other brands I've grown to trust: ProMatch, ValueHobby, HobbyKing and ViciousTeknology

I run a team powers 5200mah / 100c / 2s in my buggy and a Orion 4500mah / 100c / 2s in my Truggy.
I like both but both batteries are about $65 each. Im going to try the SMC batteries next as i keep reading good things about them and they are priced alot better.
