If you have issues during practise, just unplug it to see if it works. If so it is wise to search a spot not that close to electronics.
Once I had seen a continious glitching car. While the transponder was mounted not close to the electronics and was working fine on the counting system it seemed the transponder was causing it, a new transponder did solve the issue. And yes, it can work fine when it is on top of a servo or receiver but still it is no good idea to place a transmitter close to a receiver. Always try to run w/o transponder if you have glitching/range issues. |

I believe Hiro Seiko had made them as also Futaba has them. Or you just go to a smartphone shop......

Here's what I found after talking to bobby at Futaba.
SBUS SR Modes for your Servos. After you bind up your SR receiver, and you are setting your servo to SR mode through an SBUS connection, you will get prompted to set the mode to 1, 2, or 3. 1-3 represent increasing speed and torque. However, aside from the CB700, most of them are only capable of setting 1, anyway. If you have a CB700, though, enjoy! ;) |
So I just got the cb700. I can get this one to sr mode 3 and it will be faster? |
I believe that in SR mode, it makes the fastest torque and speed settings available.
|
i been using the CB700 since i got the 7px, didnt know what the 3 modes were. i will try the different settings soon.

I imagine the OS Speed Servos when available will give the 700 a run for its money! Unless they were discontinued for a reason!

Stats are cool, but no offense there is a reason the Protek 160t is so great! Its reliable. I have run Futaba since the 80's. B1 is a monster... and who needs 680.5 oz/in? I am trying to pull the tire off the wheel! If i replace my steering servo in my FG TC with the 700 it will perish! That 700 is a cheap shot at Sanwa!!!! Lets be honest... if Futaba came out with a great 1/5 servo it would have been a better day. I would put a 160T against the 700 any day, to outlast it! Remember the servos the OS has been based on have been out for a while!
(I run 1:8 truggy, buggy, 1:8 IC, and 1:5 TC) |
The CB700 is a beast of servo. If I were running 1/8th, it'd be my #1 pick.
What is the tech behind this servo that allows it to be incredibly fast/powerful and efficient? |
