I recently purchased a new Team Scream 17.5 motor. I placed it on my Sky RC motor analyzer and it came up Ph A 45*, Ph B 36*, Ph C 39*. Is this normal. I have a Reedy Sonic and all the phases are within 2* of each other.

was this new out of the box, seen some variations if their was solder on the tab, also did you try it again just incase their was a bad connection??

I believe they should nominally be closer. I'm not sure if shimming the rotor would help. And I'm not near good enough soldering to attempt moving the sensors.

Team Scream came wrapped in plastic, no box. This seems to be the new "Hot motor" . I just read on another thread it has to do with the symmetry of the rotor. Yes new. I soldered the connections.

I have the same problem with a brand new non soldered motiv mc2 with 10deg difference between B and C phase at any can timing test!

2 of my co-racers got brand new TSR "the one" motors, we tested them on my analyzer and they were worse then yours.. on the track you cant touch these cars... scary fast and stay cool! its soo weird
