Default LRP SXX Esc problems Help

Ok here is the issue, at the track, hooked up everything and if I give full throttle the wheels spin for a second then stop. If I back off just a mm then I get the full throttle. I can use all the throttle range except full. One of the wires going to the Esc was loose so I had someone at the track solder it back on. Then I tried to "reset" the Esc somehow but didn't know how to. I was basically pushing the Set and Mode buttons.

Then I tried to configure it again. Set the throttle and brake. But now I get nothing but steering. When I hit the set button it blinks blue like it should, hit it again and blinks yellow and motor beeps, hold full throttle and hit it again and it blinks red (which means the brake is set). Then it starts blinking red and blue and then nothing. Can't get the throttle to set.

Is there a way to "reset" it? I'm going to try calling LRP today and see what they say. Just wanted to see if anyone has experience with these.

Thank you!

Hello,

Maybe I miss-read this but your are not setting the brakes.
* Turn on the receiver and press the set button (for 3 seconds) until it blinks blue
* Hit SET again and neutral is set, it starts blinking yelow
* Hold full throttle and hit set again. It now blinks red
* Hold full breaks and hit set a last time. <-- I think you forgot this step.

After that it should be calibrated correctly.

Hey MGU....so i've done the whole procedure about 20 times, including the full brakes step and it never worked. After I read your post I tried it again and what do you know....it worked. I'm calling it user error....lol.

Thanks! For some reason your post made my car work. Lol
