Default Futaba 3PV

I am just curious if I am changing models correctly on my 3PV. When I am in model 1 and want to switch to model 2 I am currently:

Press right to go to the model screen (Model 1 is blinking)
Press the + sign
Model 1 changes to M2, then gives a -ING screen,
then lists M2, Name OFF PWR is blinking

I then power it off and back on and it is on model 2.

Is this correct? It almost seems like it is rebinding each time.

The manual is vague and shows to use the steering wheel to choose.

Thanks

Yes, you've got it right.

The radio lets you have a different receiver bound for each model, but it is not rebounding each time. The power off makes sure you don't accidentally switch away from a model that you are controlling.
