Punch typical comes from ESC and motor setup but you can add a little positive exponential to the throttle on the radio.

Or you could just squeeze the trigger a bit more. When at full throttle, no radio setting is going to be able to affect punch.

I see that a lot too ... when it comes to the mains.... almost everybody is dialing up positive EPA in their throttle. It makes that punch/power comes early in your trigger.


Anybody experimented with dialing up Throttle Acceleration? (Futaba)
