Default SMC motor timing

Hey all, I decided to try out SMC's 4-pole motor for my eb48sl and when I received it I noticed it had marks on the can for timing, but no numbers to indicate what the timing setting is. And I was wondering if anyone knows where zero timing is within the notches?

Right now it's in the middle which makes me think there is some timing already set. But I'd prefer to stay at zero for the e-buggy.

Best wishes!

Alright so for anyone who may have the same question in the future, I managed to get the answer from SMC themselves. Danny emailed me and said that rotating the end bell clockwise will lower timing. And if you rotate it counter-clockwise will increase timing.

And he added one more thing I wasn't aware of, that there isn't zero timing on motors because it would cause them to run poorly. Didn't know that! Great guy to deal with.

SMC FTW
