Default Speed passion, am I missing something?

Ok, first, I'm not an expert so please be gentle. Lol so I've recently purchased a Speed Passion Reventon R esc from a member on here and he said it has reverse but of course it's not programmed for it. He's not being too helpful.

I've tried finding speed passions website and I keep getting taken to a Nike shoe site. Does anyone know their website or maybe they lost domain rightS?

Also, I've checked the manual. If i read correctly, I need the program card to access reverse? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is for my wife and she NEEDS reverse. Thank you!!

Can't help with the esc but can add that Google has a warning saying, "This site may be hacked" regarding sp's site as of right now - would avoid.

It's doable, but its a serious pain in the rear. It took me multiple attempts to get the software to upload onto the speedo and when I tried to put the stock blinky software on it a few months later it stopped working completely. You will need to hook it up to a computer to do it and upload the software onto the program box before you can load it onto the speedo. You need the program box to do it, so if you don't have it you will need to find one. My suggestion would be to cut your losses and grab a Hobbywing just stock speedo for around $50 bucks and put a 17.5 in it for her. If the speedpassion works with the software that's on it just keep it as a spare.

I had a reventon for a while, and it is a good ESC. In order to load the profile for reverse, you do need to get the program box and then down load the profile with reverse. Super easy once you have the box.

1st, I lived on a road called River Bluff. Random. Anyways, yea the seller failed to tell me that I needed the program card so I just ordered one. Thanks guys.

Also, I did get a decent deal on a motor and the esc for 75 bucks so it hasnt costed me so much. Got the program card fairly cheap as well. So..I'm not too in debt yet to call it a loss.
