Default Weird ESC problem

Put a Tekin RSX in my Losi 22-4. When I put the throttle in forward the wheels spin then slowly down then start spinning again. Odd thing is that this doesn't happen in revere. Tried a new sensor wire with no luck.

What the hell? Any ideas?

Motor is Reedy 5.5
12 gauge wires
Airtronics transmitter.
Timing profile is set to blinky. No boost.

Is the ESC screwed?

Thank to everyone in advance!

Try recalibrating the ESC to the receiver.

Set your throttle and brake end points to 100%. Throttle/brake dual rate 100%. Make sure exponential/curve is set to 0%.

After this, calibrate your esc again. If this does not help, set throttle REVerse on your transmitter and calibrate again. Maybe this helps.

Thanks for the response. I tried all these things as suggested by my fellow track goers. Perhaps a faulty ESC?

Did you already swap the motor?

The motor is good. Used it in another car, bit too fast for 2wd.

Full lipo?

Do you have low-voltage cut-off activated? If yes, what voltage? This might be set to a too high voltage.
