Default Looking to get a new charger

Hi guys, I'm in a market for a new charger.. what should I consider?

I've had Hitec X2 400, and now I would like something "new generation" chargers out there... maybe icharger 308B or along the line ....

Also looking to buy some new gen LI-HV with 7.6V either Orca gen2 6300 or Reedy Zapper 6000

Any newer chargers on the horizon?

Any input is appreciate it

I've been looking at the icharger because it has a higher balance discharge than my hitec x4 80. Seems like sometimes my hitec will take the whole 120 minutes just trying balance the last .01 volt in the pack. A friend with an icharger never has that issue.

To me it's got the same 200mah balance discharge current as the hitec but maybe the firmware is better. Anybody have one of these chargers?

If racing spec classes, i would recommend the Junsi Icharger 308 or 406, but thunder power has an amazing deal for their dual 820 charger for 100 bucks right now.

Yup I run 17.5 binky touring.. newer HV's doesnt seem like needs to charge it super high amps... but reason im considering Icharger is for 30amp discharge.. no other charger seems to offer that.. may be thats why there are HUGE price difference.

From what I've seen, besides price, you can't go wrong with the icharger.

In the same boat. Need a new charger and was liking the Orion, but not sure if that is the right way to go. Would prefer an AC/DC charger to not have to have a power supply to bring along.

You need a discharg bank in order to discharge at 30amps or more. The charger in synchronous mode will discharge a 2 cell at ~16amps max I think. Single channel can discharge a pack at ~10amps
