This isn't accurate. Sure you can use it, but it's not an official recommendation from us.

I directly bolt my ESC's to the chassis. In my Tekno's they're bolted to the ESC plate, no tape. There are 3 mounting screws on the bottom of the Rx8 where we supply 3 small silver screws for mounting the ESC to items like this.

My bad Randy. This was the information that trickled down to me. I was misinformed. Thanks for the correction.

The tekin ESCs ,especially gen2 will fail in rough conditions ,though soft mounting may help for a little while . Hobbywing for rough track's.

The Kyosho zeal gel tape will dampen vibration. It won't do jack for dampening shock.

Go ahead, push down on the ESC, that tape is firm as heck. You can remove the center of the tape to make it softer, but then it won't stick to anything well, so you'll have to CA glue the tape down.

Ps the hobbywing doesn't seem to be troubled by concussions as much as tekin !

I hope your right!

I did the Kyosho zeal stuff. I guess I'll see how it goes!
