Default Newbie with many ?'s

Hi to everyone my name is Andres I'm from Northern California I own a Kyosho mp9e tki and Kyosho drx ve demon rally car and I love them but like everyone else I need more speed! Currently stock with my mp9e on 4s with a 2200kv motor what's a good esc and motor for an upgrade? Please help with a good esc and motor if needed for more speed? 6s maybe?

The 2250 is a LOT of motor. If you're just looking for top speed, you've got the right motor, you just need to do some gearing and tuning....

FYI, a 2250 on 4s w a full charge will turn more rpms ( about 6k) than a 1400 w 6s at full charge.

My bad I actually have a 2100kv motor on 4s with good batteries and 4s max esc and my 1/9 Kyosho drx ve usually beats me when we race and I let my fiancée drive it so I need to beat her lol! She's running 3s 2400kv motor both my rc's but I love how the mp9e drives and handles just not fast enough! I just bought a 13t gear for the motor see what that does, it's still in package I'll see if I install it soon

Are you going up, or down, on your pinion?

A pinion with less teeth will give you quicker acceleration but your top speed will suffer. The opposite will happen with more teeth on the pinion.
