Default ProTek RC "Prodigy 610 QUAD AC"

Anyone use one of these before? I currently use a Hitec X4 AC Plus, looking for something that will charge 4S batteries faster.

What mah are your batteries, and how fast do you want to charge? 1c for a 5000mah 4s pack needs 75w, 2c needs 150w, etc. That charger is 100w, so 1c will be all you can do, unless your 4s packs are pretty small.

If you want faster 4s charging you'll need more power as Jerry suggests. Try this:

Protek 640

You will need a decent power supply but many can be found for $45 if you look around for the modified pc server supplies. I use one and it puts out well over 1,000 watts. I can charge a 4s faster than you'd want to.

If you really want a 4 channel charger, and want big power, here is another option -

Turnigy_Reaktor_QuadKore_1200W_80A_4_X_300W_20A_DC

4 channels of 20a power. You will need a healthy DC power supply. Something like This $60 Ebay unit would work, so long as you don't max out all 4 channels at the same time.
