Questions?? Help needed to pick a soldering station

I have been using my old soldering iron for many years. Finally, it gave up last week. I am in search for a new soldering station. I heard from my friends that weller wes51 is good one to go for. But, according this site, http://www.whichsolderingstation.com , hakko dx888 is decent one too. It is also less expensive. I never heard it before. Not sure if any of you used it before. Thank you.

Hakko or weller. Either one would at 60 watts should get the job done. All the ones on the link you provided will be fine. Will come down to your skills. I personally use a hakko 888.

Hakko or Weller. Hakko I'd purchase it through Hakko. Couple model are counterfeited by looking at the iron is hook up. Purchase different tips also 5, 3.5, 1mm. All for different jobs. Up to you, what tickles you fancy cosmetically. Had my Hakko 936 for years. One station will last you for years like your old soldering iron. Still use my iron 30 years ago!!!

Looks like there are a lot of hakko users here. I will definitely give Hakko a try. Thank you for your input.

No need to spend much more than $100.
The middle Weller in that link is $600+.
No need for it.
