Default Power short!! HELP!

Ok so I finished building my 22-4 and have been running it now for a couple weeks, and this issue has been happening often. I'm running the tekin rs pro and orion VST2 Pro 6.5, savox 2270 servo. I have one capacitor on speedo and a glitch buster on the reciever which is a SR2000 my radio is the DX4C.
So my issue is when I'm running and happen to run the front end into the tracks plastic guards, don't know what there called exactly. And my front tires get wedged and and I loose power of my throttle and steering and the wheels turn all the way to the left, all lights are still on tho. I have to power off the car turn the wheels straight and power back on and it's good. A guy at the track said he had a short in his servo wire that would do that to his. The servo is brand new with an abbressive cover over the wires. I did have to tuck the wires under the servo on a very tight angle. Maybe the wires are pulling to tight inside on the board?

Just looking for some feedback if anyone has had this issue. Thank you.

Is your receiver shutting down ?

With the wheels raised try turning the steering from lock to lock rapidly and see if it shuts down the receiver. You can try this with half throttle as well.

If your issue is receiver brownout then your glitchbuster is not sufficient. You will need something over 6800uf to resolve the issue, Savox are power hungry servos.

Also ensure you have set the steering end point so your servo is not driving the knuckle hard into the steering stop. (raises current draw)

Turn off RX, Straighten your front wheels manually. Turn on power, if steering servo goes right or left with no TX input, Steering servo shot. Disconnect steering servo your ESC works normally.

Default Culprit "Brown Out"

Alright guys so I figured out what the issue was, it wasn't anything faulty or bad servo or any of that.

It's that my tekin rs pro gen 1 has a 6v 3a internal BEC, and I'm running a savox servo which is high voltage, brushless but it can be ran at 6v but savox servos are so power hungry that it's pulling to much current which is causing the brown out.

Solution, ether install an external BEC, castle creations has a 10amp for $20 and they can get expensive but that's more then enough. Or buy an ESC with a high voltage BEC like a tekin gen 2, or the tekin RSX!!

You need to run a capacitor on the receiver (BEC) that is 6800uf 10v or higher

I had 2 spektrums on it both are 10v 4700uf and it didn't help, the internal bec on my gen1 is only 6v/3a and the savox servo was to much for it. I ended up putting a bk servo in it last nighy for now which fixed it and I'll also be putting a tekin RSX in it next week.
