Unhappy Can't figure it out

Hello all. I have spent the last hour going through many pages of this thread but did not see the same problem being described as I am having. I purchased a M12 from an individual on here. It came with the stock RX-471 and i purchased brand new an RX-481(internal antenna). My issue is, I go to power up the SC5M and i get nothing. The radio itself powers up and i can go through all the menu's but that's it. I tried both receivers and neither of them even show a light to make me think they are powering up. I tried going to the "Binding" screen and then pressing the "Bind" button on both receivers but neither of them show the LED that should flash?? I am using a brand new LRP Flow Works but don't think that even plays into the problem. I'm concerned the radio is bad but maybe i just need to change a setting? Servo is plugged into ch1 and esc is in ch2. Thanks in advance for any help someone can give.

Did you turn on the speedo? Sounds like you are getting no power to the receiver.

Check the modulation type, make sure the receiver matches what the radio is trying to bind to.

Yes, speedo shows a blue LED letting me know it has power.

The receiver says FH4T. So I chose FH4T on the radio as well. Anything I am missing or should it bind set up like that?

Thanks again guys for your time.

Do you have or can you borrow a receiver pack? Pull the plug for the speedo, plug in the pack and give it a try.

First off, check to make sure you have the plug from the ESC to the RX plugged in the correct way, easy to get it backwards.

Then go to the bind menu and verify the settings are correct. Set to;
modulation>FH4t
Telemetry>off
Safetylink>1 (set the safety link for each model{different RX}to a different #) *important*
CH1>SHR (unless you are using a Sanwa SRG servo, then SSR)
CH2>SHR
CH3>SHR
CH4>SHR

Now try to rebind RX for each model;
have Tx on and ready in bind menu, highlight bind[enter], (do not press enter yet, just ready to go)

Hold down bind button on Rx first, then power up Rx while holding button.-The blue light on Rx will start to flash slow, let go of button.

Now press Bind[enter] on Tx, the Rx light should flash fast and then go out.

once light goes out on Rx, press enter again on Tx, the light on Rx should come on solid, as well as led1 on Tx. The system should now be bound.

*The above steps need to be done within 10sec., or the Rx will time out, and you need to start again.*

Cycle power, everything should work, if not try again.

Be sure you're turning on the controller by sliding up the power switch and not pushing the silver display only button.
