Default Rc4 Hybrid question

Hello, I have never owned a pt before and decided to purchase 2. One of the transponders has a 7 digit code on it. The other one is blank and has no number on it. Am I missing something? Is the 7 digit number the pt Id? Why is the 2nd one blank? They are both Mylaps Rc4 Hybrids and I purchased from the same place at the same time if that helps.

Yes, 7 digit number is the ID#. All transponders have the number on them. I'm assuming these were purchased new? If for some reason the # was not stamped on the transponder, once it's run over the scoring loop, it should show the number on the computer. that way, you can write it down for future reference. Never heard of a number being missing unless someone tried cleaning it and rubbed it off w/some type of cleaner.

Now that I know it should have a number on it, put it under my pit light and used a magnifying glass and can barely make out the code. I have good vision but the code is so faint its not visible with my naked eye.
