Default Need help with timing

I currently run a traxxas rustler xl5. Bought a schuur speed 17.5t motor and an orion r10 stock. Do I need the orion program card to activate the blinky mode so I can get the timing setup? I'm still kind of new to this stuff.

Appears this is a blinky stock esc only. Esc timing is locked in at zero. You can probably adjust other settings ( drag brake, punch, etc. ) with out a program box, but it would be easier if you had one. Instruction manual should detail how to program with out the box.

Timing can be changed on the motor by rotating the endbell - should also be detailed within the instruction sheet.

Wow such a waste of money on that esc then IMO! I love the Orion esc but they're overpriced.
You have some good stuff added to a rustler why don't u get a nice kit/roller and use your electronics?
