Default Venom = ZERO customer support

Trying to register a cheap NiMH I got for my kids monster mutt. Their web form has issues, they don't return emails.

What a crap outfit. I'm thinking of returning the battery. NO EXCUSE for this in 2016.

Anybody else have similar experiences with this company?

So there is no problem with the batt. Your just having a problem registering it? Just keep your receipt I'm sure the batt will outlast the warranty.

I had an issue with a Produo charger like 2 weeks in, they had a new on my doorstep before I had a chance to even box it up. Whole new kit, cables and all. Couldn't possibly ask for more.

so there is no problems with the product?...
and you are worrying about registering a
'Cheap NiMH'

waste of a thread. Please return it.. the shop and Venom are better off without customer like you.

I don't think a comment like this helps

Are you listening to me? I'm trying to register a battery online. Warranty, get it?

The online form does not work. I don't need to be spoken down to man. I'm trying to register a warranty online as instructed in the literature and the online form does not work. I emailed them, and 3 days later, still no response.

I'm in the wrong here??????

Got one of their chargers too. It came with different instructions to a different website. Atomik. Odd. That link worked.

The charger has a mashed in channel switching button and the battery is dead. So I'm returning them both.

I bought two venom lipos at Hobbytown, both didn't work(seemed to have been drained). Emailed and called venom multiple times and am still waiting on a response...that was over a year ago.

Atomik/Venom are the same company.

No offense to the OP, but I love when people complain that the website has issues. Are you sure it's not your device or browser? I've never had any issues.

Venom is extremely responsive. The phone number always works and they are very active on the Venom Facebook page.

I find it a bit harsh that you bash the company after only three days, while not picking up the phone.

Oh yeah, it is a bit odd to go through all of this over a NIMH battery. I get that you are doing what the instructions say, but really, all of this stress over a really cheap battery? Bashing the company like they stole a million bucks from ya' makes this any better?

Well tell me why one Venom battery has one website and the other venom product directs me to atomik? I mean WTF am I supposed to think?

Venom RC on Facebook? Where?

How am I supposed to know Venom is Atomik? As stated, nothing in my original documentation from the first battery said anything about Atomik. It directed me to a website and the form did not work. I emailed support, no response. So all of this is my fault?

I didn't say it was your fault, but you are being overly dramatic when you call them a "crap outfit" and slander them over a $8 NIMH battery.

What you think is over dramatic may seem quite normal to other people. Everyone is different and as a customer a person has the right to expect good customer service whether its a $100 battery or an $8 battery. You don't disregard a customer because they only spent a few bucks.

They should correct their packaging and direct me to the proper website where I can register the warranty on the product. That's all I was trying to do. I'm wrong? I've been screwed so many times by bad batteries and shoddy parts in the RC world, which is why I flip out about this stuff. I rot at my job to pay for this stuff and it's my money.

If it were my mommy and daddy buying the stuff, yeah, I could care less.

I shouldn't have to jump through hoops and do endless research and whatnot to register a battery. When I did find the right website, it worked and I emailed them as well and they responded. So, all good in the hood.
