Pretty sure that would be the right Spektrum module, the 3VCS and 3PK are more or less identical.

spektrum will fit, but why bother whenthe futaba 2.4ghz spread spectrum system is better faster and is black.

i found the spektrum to have a little lag, the futaba system is awesome..little more expensive but worth it in my opinion

yeah, i think the futaba 2.4 GHz should be faster and better cause it's specially made by futaba for futaba transmitter.

However, in this part of the world , such good stuff is not yet here. Moreover, if it's here, the price is going to be far higher than what you guys are paying.

As for my spektrum, I have 2 transmitter module and 5 receivers. Upgrading to futaba would also mean i need to buy 4 more receivers to fit all my car line up.

I wanted a stick radio but why is this thing $150 higher than most top of the line pistol radios? Are there any other good choices for a stick radio out there? Are there that many more features over the pistol grips to warrant the price? Don't mind spending the cash if it is worth it.

The Futaba 3VCS is a great stick tx, but the functions are pretty similar to the older Futaba 3PJS and not the 3PK. Settings can be tricky at times, the menu is definately not the best. If you're looking for a good and easy to set stick tx, try out the new Sanwa/Airtronics Exzes Plus. The quality is really good, and it is so easy to set it up, it works just like the Sanwa/Airtronics M11. It's got the best price too, compared to the latest stick tx from Futaba and Ko Propo. Thanks for the info Funky, is the spektrum module and reciever for the m11 compatible with Sanwa/Airtronics Exzes Plus?

Doubtful, but I'm sure you could switch the sticks.

anyone know if the Fasst TX for the 3VCS is the same as the 3pk?

please only answer if u 100% know.

Rick Vessell 10-31-2007 08:31 AM

Magm,

The Fasst is the same for the stick and wheel TXs. You use the same RXs for both.

You can change modes for the sticks but you have to open the case and swap the gimbals side to side. Opening your case means, presto! no warranty. Sorry:(
