Default Transmitter and receiver

Hi all. I am building a Pro-2 SC and to go along with it I will need a new radio and receiver. I was wondering what 2.4 system to get. What seems to be the best mid priced set up to get? I know there is a lot of opinions but there must be a most popular. Also, I do have a Traxxas TQ system. Will a different/ better quality system be a good idea in the long run? I just want to do it right the first time. Thanks.

The m12 used runs around 250 or even less if you look hard.
M11x could be had for 100-140 on forum.
Also, m12s new could also be purchased new for 370 on hobby king.
I personally think any of these is good choice for you.
Lol; if you wanna do it right, I would just go for m12s, you won't need another radio in the next 5 years. I think 371 is a bargain. I got mine with 472 and 481 for 460 shipped. Sold the 481 receiver, and in the end, I got an m12s with 472 for 360 shipped.
