LifePo4 Battery to replace 4AA's
#1
So after more time than I care to invest searching for an answer to this I decided to ask a question.
I have been using a LifePo4 pack in my Futaba 3PL transmitter and am pleased with the results. I am now wanting to source one for my sons' car and am running into an issue.
Does anyone know of a 6.6V LifePo4 battery pack that will fit in the same space as a 4AA cell battery holder? Preferably one with a 2 pin red plug on it.
The physical dimensions really need to be within a length of 60mm, width of 55mm and height of 16mm.
I'm sure there may be some really small ones out there that fit but I was hoping to find something over 1500mAh.
Anyhow thanks for any info.

I'm using a Turnigy nano-Tech 2100 mAh from Hobbyking. Paid about $14 for it. It wasn't plug and play however. I had to cut the wires on the original battery holder and put the Futaba connector on them so I could plug the battery in. It was simple to do and works perfectly.
