Default esc switch

My esc switch magically fell off. Can I just connect the 2 wires together and have an always on? or is this dangerous to me and my car

In principle yes, no problem. Many cut of their switch intentionally to have one less thing to fail.

I do that in our touring car.

What brand of ESC do you have. A few ESC's are made to stay on if the wire is cut (like the LRP Flow). But that should be obvious when you plug in the battery.

If the esc is off when the wire is cut, you need to solder them together of course.
