Connect to wifi and use Google Play, like you would any Android App. Just log in with your Google Play account (or make one). Latest software available is 2.02.06

Jim - I copied the same response I put on the 5Pro thread - 6R is color, touch screen, with Android operation system. Its like touching your phone to make all the adjustments. DX5 Pro has all the same settings and operations, in a typical dot screen format. They have same operating performance - just depends on the way you wan to input your information.

That is a lot more complicated. And something that newer versions of Android would/could cause errors. It sounds simple... Apple makes it look simple, but Android does not. Wouldn't be a road I would go down.

Default Spectrum DX6R bugs gone? Good buy?

I'm sorry I don't have time to go through 125 pages LOL it's been over 3 years now I know there's been a lot of problems with it but are these ironed out now? Looking for a touch screen remote the only options really are the spektrum the futaba 7px which really is out of my price range and the sanwa which isn't released yet. Are all the major issues with the dx6r solved now are they reliable controllers?

Does the dx6r do RPM display? And if so does it have the same settings to calibrate like the dx5r?

Does Spektrum still have issues with Savox servos? Running either the SR2100 or SR2010 receiver, will there still be a chance of having brown outs. I was thinking about picking up a Savox servo, but don't want to run the external cap needed for no brown outs.

The receivers work great... even with a power hungry servo. Which you really should watch out for... that can cause other issues, not radio related. Feel from to PM me if you have questions.

How is development with X-Bus going? I really wanted to use my DX6R with the SPMA9587.
