Trigger axis
#1
A few days ago I was thinking about transmitter design and some questions just stuck in my mind.
First of all pistol transmitters seem to have the throttle/break trigger moving in the wrong plane. In a gun the trigger has only one action, firing. But very fine throttle/break control is required to drive an rc car, so why is the throttle not revolving on a vertical axis, so it could follow the movement of the index finger much more directly. The learning curve would surely be more gentle.
It must not be that hard to make one, I could build a prototype from LEGO in 5 minutes.

Redo rebind the TX to RX, w/o connection of Servo and or ESC. then, set your Trims at 12o'clock position & EPA at 100%. Connect the ESC as directed on on users manual and calibrate TX.
If that don't work goto pg 103 in manual, adjust steering and or throttle. If you don't have manual, DL on the web like I just had!
Then redo set up to your liking. If your radio has default do that and follow the step I've posted.
Good luck!!!

Thanks for your answer, I appreciate your intent to help, but this idea has nothing to do with my radio. I was just wondering why there are no controllers that work like that.
