I just purchased the premium UHT rotor for my v2 17.5. I am currently running a 4.25 fdr on grey carpet with the stock UHT rotor. Would the fdr be the same for the premium rotor or should I be starting with a different gearing ratio?

Maybe gear up 1 tooth but try it first with your current gearing. The rotor is really good BTW.

Awesome! I just put the motor on my analyzer and at 48* timing which it's seems most people are running, Iam getting a reading of 3500 kv(!) but it's at 6.6 amps. For other motors I like to be under 5.0 amps. Is 6.6A unreasonable or a good rate for the v2?

I need more brakes! Got brake PWM down to 1k 100% braking force but still looking for more stopping power.

I believe 52 degrees is a decent setup for most of those motors. Give that a try and let us know how it goes

If I ease the throttle on it's okay. I've taken a video which will hopefully show what I'm talking about.

It doesn't do it with my other Maclan ESC and motor. I've reset this ESC, I've changed the slipper and gearing, changed the sensor cable, and the ESC reciever cable. Nothing seems to fix it. Could the capacitor module be dead and need replacing?

I have the same ESC and motor and it is doing the exact same thing. It's in a tekno eb410. I resoldered, disassembled the motor, and changed about every setting in the esc but it still does it. Don't have another sensored motor to try to see if it's the ESC, but I believe it's the sensor board in the motor. What was the fix for you problem?

The motor does run cool could use more timing on the endbell.

have you tried turning off the LVC and dropping BEC down to 6V?

Now, don't run the battery dead etc, but see if you see the issue still.

Has anyone come across this before?
I've been using my phone to change settings on the MMax pro but I've left my OTG adapter at the track. I plug in my prolink card but find when trying to access the ESC settings, it doesn't! It just goes back to the screen where I find what profile is loaded

It's like I'm always invisible in this thread. No one ever responds.

I fixed my own problem and if the Maclan reps want to find out what happened exactly they can reach out.
