Default spectrum dx2e and sr 201 wont bind

hi
im trying to bind these two but it just wont go solid green after blinking.
im doing everything right.
bind plug
turning on
press bind hold and turn radio

it blinking on the radio then go solid but on the rx the led just go off
please help

According to the Spektrum website, the DX2E is compatible with DSMR and DSM2 receivers. The SR201 is DSM, so it won't work.

I have a DX2E with a SR201 it worked fine then something happen to the receiver I ordered a new one now when binding it does the same thing green light flashing on both then the dx2e goes solid green when the receiver stops flashing then the green light starts flashing on the sr201 again ...the old sr201 worked fine I don't get it

Try this. Get a RC 4cell AA battery holder, can be purchased at Amazon. Spectrum supposed to Bind at Manufacture, Sometimes you have redo. Remove RX from car and St and Thr servos. Install your Binding Jumper. Now plug in the battery holder on either the ST or TH slot, Your LED should be Flashing. You are very close! Press Bind button on TX, then turn on TX. Both LED's on RX & TX should be SOLID. Done! Turn off and REMOVE Holder, Bind Jumper. Reinstall your ST & TH Servos. Test function. You Have to Calibrate the ESC follow directions.
