Default Tekin Redline Gen3

Anybody had a chance to have run with one of these yet? If so, how do they differ from the Gen2 motors? I wouldn't mind pairing a 3.5 turn or 4 turn with the RSX if they are as improved as it sais.
Cheers

If you switch the motor screws to titanium, it will weigh 156grams or less.... Very promising design, and lighter than the 24K motor.... The gen2 was an improvement of the gen1, and the gen3 seems follow the same line weight wise, but mod 3.5t/4t motors generally do not get reviewed, and if so, they're run with non tekin esc's.... Don't ask me why....

I'm interested in a the gen3 in a 13.5 for 12th blinky. I really like the low weight. Looking forward to seeing some reviews.

FWIW, my 13.5 d4 non-short stack weighs 170g. My d4ss weighs 159g. The Motiv 17.5 and 6.5 weigh 157g....very light.

All these motors use steel screws still.... Titanium screws will make that Motiv motor get down to 154grams or less... Titanium is the future....

Yes the rpm versions are a short stack.

We are shipping orders, they just do not show up in stock yet due to backorders being filled first.

Trust me we are building enough for everyone, it just takes time to fill the shelves

Is the 25.5t going to be a short stack version for F1 or regular for VTA?

To be ROAR legal the 25.5turn motors cannot be a ‘short stack’. The motors must have a 19.7mm or longer stack length and a 12.3mm x 25mm rotor in them.

We can only making one version of the motor that will be ROAR legal and for all classes.

We have the 25.5 turn motors, but unfortunately we do not have the 12.3mm rotors required to be ROAR approved yet. We hope to have them in early March and will be shipping immediately when they arrive.

How is the 17.5 doing in 1/12 stock, would the rpm edition be the one to use? And what would a good starting point for timing and rollout on an 80ft track with 3 rolls of carpet?
