Default LiPo Charging Question

I just bought at used Losi XXX-SCT and the guy threw in a MaxAmps 2s 6000HV. My question is can it be charged if it is not completely dead? It came a little puffed but it isn't cracking or punctured. I'm getting back into electric stuff now and I just don't want something going wrong. Thanks.

LiPo batteries have no memory. You can charge them in any state.

Make sure you are running with Low Voltage Cutoff set on your ESC and always storage charge when done running. You can wake up dead packs but once they get drained too low, too many times they are toast. Most quality chargers have a storage charge function that either charges or discharges and won't charge a pack if something is wrong with it... and always charge in a lipo bag.
