Default LCD Program card issues

I just got my new Xerun sct pro combo and when I have everything hooked up and running and try to program the same way as my wpsc8 and Quicrun It does not connect to the esc. I have been told by the rep at Falcon Skeido that I am supposed to unplug the esc plug from the receiver in order to use my lcd card ? Im confused as to why a better esc than my other 2 I have would have to be a pain the rear to have to unplug the rx port every time I want to make a change. Anyone else have to do this with their Xerun sct pro ?

You only need to unplug it when your receiver doesn't give the ESC a true neutral signal, as any other signal will override the connection to the programming box. On some radios it just works, on others you unfortunately have to pull the cable from the Rx.
