Default Mounting RX sideways?

I want to relocate my switch and I think I can fit it in with the receiver if I mount it sideways.

I've always mounted them face up but never had to share the same space with the switch before.

Can receivers handle being mounted on their side?

Yes, as long as it has an external antenna. If it has an internal antenna, you should mount it flat.

If it has an internal gyro, mount it per the manufacturer's instructions.
