Default mt4 or m12

I currently have a airtronics mt4 but thinking of upgrading to m12 is the m12 that much better all around?

Any reason why your not happy with the mt-4?

I also would like to know comparisons. Plan on running 1/12 elec and 1/8 nitro on road. Any reason for me to pay for the m12 or is the mt-4 good enough?

The MT-4 uses the same trigger and wheel mechanisms as the M12. If you go with an M12 you get a heavier radio with mostly the same features. The M12 does have a backlight, but that won't help you be a better driver!

The MT4 is solid all the way around. I don't see many people buying the M12s in my area any more. If people go airtronics, they are snapping up the MT4s mostly. There is a reason for that, it is a fantastic radio!

Not starting the endless discussion of latency times (the M12(s) being the fastest transmitter), I guess for those who can afford it, and wants to be sure that their gear is top notch, second to none etc., the M12 (or the Futaba 4PX, KO etc.) is the only way to go.

For those on a budget or just not willing to spend twice as much, the MT4S is all you need.

I still believe that the MT4S is the best of the non-top versions, because it strikes a perfect balance of being fast and have all the required features and backlight, while not being bulky.

Probably the best value transmitter that can still be used in high level comp.
