Default Overly responsive servo

Have a Hitec servo hooked to a Hobby Wing ESC, Spectrum reciever. When I move steering wheel on Spectrum radio the steering servo responds too quickly with small steering inputs. ESC has no steering sensitivity adjustments. Have tried radio adjustments but have not helped. Using standard servo horn and am thinking might need longer arm to create larger arch to slow down movement.
Also, iI suspect the Spectrum 4210 reciever with AVS may be to blame .
Any ideas?
Rick

What radio? It sounds like expo might be set too high. Zero it out if it is an option.

Also a shorter arm will cause less throw which means it will be less sensitive.

All great ideas above. Also, if you are using traction compound, dont apply to the outer half of the tire treads to reduce steering's initial response (or dont apply at all on the front).
