Problem with Muchmore FLETA PRO Brushless ESC
#16
On the radio TX side, I reset all braking EXP back to 0 value. After that I tried reducing the EPA for braking down to 70% but it results in the overall braking power reduced. One question SeanV, after you set the EPA down, did you recalibrate the ESC throttle and braking range again? I did not do that, maybe that is the problem.
Anyway, in the end I had one of the more experienced racers at the track try out my setting without the reduced EPA, he said he the brake was ok by his standard. I guess its all down to everybody own feel.

Only had time yesterday to get on track due to busy schedule. I tried all the settings throughout the frequency range from 1khz up till 32khz. Turns out that as per dan vector recommendation, 2khz has the best feel and bite response. Also had to put a 10% drag brake and Initial Braking set to drag braking. So far its been sufficient for the track I'm running at but I would still like a bit more initial bite. That's all on the ESC setting.

- On the radio I set the throttle/brake EPA to 100%.
- Recalibrated the radio to the ESC.
- Then turned down the EPA on the radio to roughly 70%.
After doing this I found a big improvement on the brakes at high speed, the lag was significantly reduced. The brake lag was still there but at least I now get on the brakes a lot later than before.
The downside to this is that the brakes at low speed (literally at crawling speed) is non existent, there is absolutely nothing.
Incidentally this issue/fix is not just related to the MuchMore Fleta ESC.
I have the exact same issue with my Orca VXX and apply the same EPA fix to get the brakes to work at high speed.
This is using the ESC's in stock classes i.e. 17.5 Boosted and 13.5 boosted.
Both ESC's brakes work perfectly in MOD.

Guys, I know is an old thread but just wondering is there any solution for that braking problem? Ive been using Thunder Power 13.5 and GM motor with stock 1.3 software and everything was ok. Now switched to LRP X20 13.5 and here we go... problem appeared... dont want selling that LRP as i like it, just need a solution how to solve it?

I'm have an ongoing issue with my Fleta Pro ESC, it's set to blinky mode and every time I give the buggy throttle the tires balloon to the point of ripping off the wheel. Very discouraging, I have all the endpoint as low as they can go on the esc via the program box and the same issue occurrs. Software is the most current. My 17.5 looks like a 2.5, excessive sporadic power. I don't want to scrap this esc but I have no other options if I can get any advice. Thanks
