Thats funny cuz I've read and even seen guys running Tekin motors with Castle ESC's and as we all know, they're not sensored. So maybe you wanna re-think your reply.

Are you shure its a fuze made by dynamite ESC ? thats what im thinking...

Mwildmann 03-12-2015 11:08 AM

His motor isn't a 6-pole motor. Tekin doesn't offer one. Toro and Tenshock are the only current manufacturers that offer 6-pole motors (and I'm pretty sure that those are both manufactured by Tenshock).

fuse doesnt make a 150 amp either....?

1700kv on 4s? - 04.26.2010, 10:28 PM
i recently purchased a rx8 1700 truggy setup and realized i should have gone with ahigher kv motor because i already have 4 5000mah 4s packs,is running this motor on 4s bad? im running it in a mugen mbx5 with a rc monster conversion. thanks
.........
4 cell 1700 is a bit slow. typicaly the setup i use for newbies to run my buggy. very smooth and easy to drive. i would imagine it would be a bit slower in a truggy with all the extra rotating mass, but wont break the tires loose every time you punch it like the 2200. 4cell 1700 reminds me of running 19t 4wd on NiMh years ago.

I run 15/45 in my 8t w/1700 t8 on 5s.IMO its gr8ight! 2200 is a backflipping blast!

Tekin T8 1700kv truggy motor power delivery
If you don't already know, the Tekin T8 1700kv Truggy motor is a 1.5Y wind. Y winds respond to timing changes very well unlike D winds. Tekin originally sold the esc's preset with pretty high timing - making the Y winds rip more, and switched low timing on their later escs.

Since you haven't proven me wrong or even corroborated your theory of running a sensored motor MUST be matched to a sensored ESC, I've gotta say your replies are comical at best.
