Is this fast acting? Someone suggested the MT-4, but kinda $$$. I don't want to go too cheap and end up buying another one in a year.

I've been using spektrum since I started. I had a dx3c and now I use a dx4s. Both perform well enough for me. And you can find spektrum receivers for $20

The kit I was looking at it at Tower Hobbies (LXEVDL) for $99. That does come with the receiver, correct? I'm going to be applying this to a B5M Lite (next month that is).

Radio's tend to out last the length of time a person has their car. My suggestion, spend the extra money now because you can always get shoes at Wally World for under 20 bucks.

I have the MT4 ($220) and it is worth every penny. DO NOT skimp on a radio.

But if you really want fast then the MT4S ($300) is the ticket, but does cost.

You could also check out the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. Good deals to be found there.
