Default Castle Creations Mamba XLe

Castle Creations shows new Mamba XLe at Nuremburg Toy Fair

All you 5th scale drivers (and big power 1/8 scale) will be happy to know that Castle Creations was showing the new Mamba XLe ESC at the Nuremburg Toy Fair. The XLe is the latest and greatest in 5th speed controllers which comes with a 20 amp BEC and is rated for up to 8S LiPo. An official release date for the XLe has not been announced. The old XL2 has a 5 amp BEC.

WELL, they start good... where in the hell lenght size is: 43.8mm ? The XL2 in lenght is 104mm

Good start ... looking from pics size is equal to a XL2...so that is a mistake...

That 20A BEC must have been an interesting circuit design exercise...

Really would like a date on this too... would make getting a losi 5iveT seem more reasonable haha. Also assuming the xle (8s) and xle 50 (12s) would be released at the same time or close together? Probably a pipe dream!
