Full throttle glitch master crash break.

Sct410
Sct pro Esc
M12 radio
4.5 550 motor.
1258 tg servo

Sometimes when I am driving the car glitch out and hit full throttle. It caused me to crash and bust my truck. What causes this and how do I fix it? Glitch buster?

Savox servo = you should absolutely start with a glitch buster.

Glitch buster or a BEC. I use a BEC on all my rigs personally. On an 1//8 scale it won't even notice the weight that one adds, and you can adjust the voltage to suit you servo. I use mine with a by-pass harness so the BEC only runs the servo and the ESC powers the receiver.

+1. If your ESC doesn't have a 5A BEC, forget about it. Use an external BEC.

What is a BEC?

Battery Eliminator Circuit. In a traditional setup they eliminate the need for a separate receiver battery in an electric model to power the receiver and servo(s).

Most speed controls have a BEC built in, and there are separate (external) BEC units available that can provide more power. Sometimes called a voltage regulator, as they lower and regulate the main pack voltage to a level the receiver and servos can work with.

Although some servos and receivers are capable of higher voltage and can be ran on a 2S lipo pack without the need for a BEC. Higher voltage packs, like a 4S for example, normally still need a BEC.
