Depends what car how many volts, gearing etc. It may be fine in a corr truck but not a monster truck

That should be plenty of esc for that motor and truck combo.

Won't be an issue, I've run the Ezrun 60A on a VXL Motor (3500kv) Plenty of times.

Look up your Hobbywing ESC and see what motor they say. Not sure which one you have. Most of these ESC will handle down to 5-8T motors, so you should be OK.

The Rustler is light so that's more going for it.

What ESC is suitable depends on a lot of variables, gearing, weight, motor size, amp draw etc. It's not just a blanket case of this ESC for this motor. For your purpose I'd stick with an 80A Esc and the 3660 2600kv motor, the amp draw on that will be more due to the longer can so it has a larger stator and rotor (most are 3650 size)
