Default Why does my TC have reverse?

I have a new Tekin RSX ESC and a Ko EX-1. I am trying to figure out why I have reverse instead of break? Can anyone help on a starting place, is it with my Ko setup or my ESC? Sort of new to the hobby and am knee deep in manuals trying to figure it out.

Any help is appreciated .....

Make sure the Motor Type setting in the ESC is in position #1 in order to just have Forward/Brake. The #2 position is Forward/Reverse.
