Default LED light durability

I bought a LED light set which I'll install in one of my bashing trucks. Mostly likely it will be for my Slash 4x4 SC or MT bodies or mini-erevo body. The kit includes headlights, fog lights, signal lights and brake lights.

I need to know if LEDs are durable enough to mount directly to the body with shoegoo or if they should be mounted in a holder? I guess I need to know how much "road rash" the LEDs can take without a holder.
