there is some info missing from your question, like your intended use, how long your run times need to be. What exactly are you struggling with? brand? capacity?
In my opinion though, get a quality 4s battery. I use a RX8 and T8 1900 in 3 of my 1/8 race rigs. There are many good batteries available, but I have had great success with SMC batteries. I use the 6500mah and it has great punch and more than enough capacity to complete a 10min main and not too expensive.

Thanks MKL, my ultimate intended use is outdoor racing, indoor when I can. Run times, not sure, but I have alot of practice to put in. I know I need 4S, but the "C" rating confuses me. I know I need a min C rating of 40 but is higher better? And whats too high? I guess what I need is a good starting point on batteries. And the Tekno eb48.2 will propably be my buggy choice.

I hear a lot of guys say stick to a min of 50c and 5000mah batteries for 1/8 scale.
on the other hand the C rating is being fugged by battery companies.

I use SMC factory spec 50c 5000mah with a tekin T8 2000kv and have no problem with racing a 5-8 min race. in a 7 min race(typical what we run) my packs are only down to about 4-4.08v on each cell. well in the safe zone and usable still.

I could be wrong but the C rating has an impact on how much punch you get. The bigger the number the better the battery lets the juice flow. I don't know too much about it, but as a general rule the higher the C rating the better.
I use a Hyperion 702 AC/DC charger and would recommend it. I like the AC/DC because you don't need to carry a power supply unit, just plug into any wall outlet. They may not be as powerful as the DC only, but the convenience wins in my book. I have been intrigued by this one though.

I don't own one, I haven't even seen on in person, but it looks pretty cool.
