Default New mamba max pro issue

Hi all. I just picked up a new mamba max pro and am trying to hook up the castle link. My computer is a 64 bit system on windows 8. I have read everywhere about 64 bit systems and windows 7, but nothing about 8. I plug my esc into the computer and castle link screen says device not linked. Any way to get this to work on this computer?

Have you tried running the program in Win7 compatibility mode?

You can try right click run as admin or open up device manager to see if it's even detected.

also are you doing this with battery plugged in or no?
